Hey everyone, happy new year!

We hope you guys had a great vacation from school, and we hope you got your rest because there’s a new year and a new quarter to prepare for.  As you might have heard, the student-led class “Pilipino Historical Dialogue” will be offered in Winter quarter, and later in Spring quarter, for your choice of 2 to 5 credits.  The schedule is set for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:45 in Porter 246If you want to sign-up, show up on the first day, which is Tuesday, January 6th.  Normally, the process of registering for this class, because it is not on the catalog of classes, requires some form of logistics and paperwork.  It will be explained in detail on the first day.  Also, there will be a cap on the class, 12-15 participants; first-come, first-serve basis.  Sorry, it took so long to let you guys know, but we hope that you will come and join us for the class.  Anyway, enjoy the rest of the break and see you there!!!

People Power Info Night! (Tentative Nov.12)

Don’t worry cats, it won’t be until November but mark your calendars because Wed Nov. 12th is our tentative date for our info night! It’ll be from 7 or 8 until we have to be kicked out and will most likely be at the Oakes Learning Center. That’s the place above the cafe and guzman room.

Come learn about people power and learn about the exciting paths we’re planning to take it on.

  • People Power Shorts
  • People Power Showcase
  • Improv
  • PCC
  • and more!

We will be assembling a crew on that day as well because we want People Power to not be limited to those who are in PCC. We need a crew for the movies and we need a crew that will help make showcase as awesome as it can be. As you can see there are many opportunities to become a part of people power and I hope you guys and gals out there check them out.

We’ll hit you up with more concrete information as it comes along but for now have a great rest of your October.
